Lake Mamansaco

Went out yesterday for about 2.5 hours. I threw a Texas rigged senko, watermelon colored. I did pretty well. Nothing too big, decent size. A lot of the guys I saw on the water and talked to said the big fish seem to be gone even more this year, which is sad because I caught a 17 and a 20in largemouth last year. The bite really picked up right toward the end. I did catch a huge pumpkinseed. It was big enough my 7 year old daughter told me to weigh it. It was 8oz, and without a doubt the biggest pumpkinseed I ever caught. She also netted one of my bass hat was hung up in some laydowns! She handled the net like a pro! Between trying to manage my daughter needing to pee, and other times I needed to stop, I managed 6 fish in about 2.5 hours.

I think thats a great idea. Unless every angler I talk to is lying, the fish keep geeting smaller each year and thats a bass management lake.
