Coventry 6/13

So a couple of buddies and I went over to Coventry lake for a couple of hours on sunday to drop the new boat in and see what we could get (by the way a new use to the website/fisher to CT lakes). We were out fishing for about 2 hours and came up with a couple of rock bass. Fished with a couple of top waters and a brass bouyant. I am wondering what lures/rigs people are having the best luck with (since I am getting back into fishing after taking some time off). Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I plan to spend my weekends taking my boat out on various lakes around CT.

My best bass lure is a wacky rigged senko on flickit jig, any shaky head jig will work. Cast, let it hit the bottom, bounce a few times, if nothing reel in and cast again. http://www.buckeyelures.com/Flick-It.shtml
