WTB Rod & Reel

I have a friend who is relatively new to bass fishing that I let use my stuff and he'd like to get started with some better quality equipment.
A good start for him would be a lowered end St. Croix (Avid) /Shimano (Crucial) rod 6'6" - 7' m or mh and a good quality Shimano reel. If anyone has a set up or individual rod / reel they'd be interested in selling, PM me.
