best day in a long time!

went out to a local private lake with a buddy and fished from shore for a couple hours and had an amazing time.
all fish were caught on topwater Storm Chug Bug and also spittin' image.
I had another nice one close to shore and he jumped off at the last min... he was roughly 2.5 lbs...

WOW!!!!! those are some nice fish. what time of day do you go at or had the best luck to catch bass like that the only time i caught a 4.5 lb bass was at a really late afternoon.
