Anyone know where the Stripers are?

Im heading out for a late night Striper run Saturday night, I live in the Valley but will travel to get some decent action as Im a newbie to the sodium and need to get some fish under my belt before I freak out for spending about $500 on poles and tackle and need something besides the spider crab and one Blue Ive caught in the past 3 1/2 weeks!! Please, Im begging you! :lol:
