Bashan Lake 7/3

Went down to Bashan on Saturday with a buddy and caught two bass each. The biggest being a couple pounds. We didn't get a chance to fish the far end of the lake due to the weather rolling in. Next time hooking up a small trolling motor to make it a little easier. After the rain stopped we made a trip to a random pond in Essex for a couple hours. I caught 11 bass and my friend caught 9 bass, so it was worth the trip. Again nothing of large size with the biggest probably between 2 and 3 pounds, but it was a good time.

I started with a brown Senko which didn't produce any hits, but switched to a purple Vicious ribbion tail which they seemed to love and then a watermelon Yum Dinger which also produced well.
