catfishing in haddam saturday night..planned on goin to the haddam meadows to toss some lines..low tide and river was really low..headed up 154 to midway marina..fished off a barge on my fiances mothers neighbors dock(i know its a tounge twister)...no action til the tide turned around..throwin livers but only grabbin big eels..sarah got one 24incher (her third trophy of the year) and i hooked into a monster before we left..he cranked my rod over in the holder i picked it up set the hook and thought i was snagged until he gave the very distinct channel cat head knock..i couldnt move him..i pulled back and reeled down a couple times and BOOM hook popped out..pretty disappointed but hey at least i know they are there..all in all a good night..another trophy on the board [URL=http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/835/093ws.jpg/][img:2c19da9156]http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/9623/093ws.jpg[/img:2c19da9156][/URL]
