Posting an Avatar??

Ok, I'm having trouble putting up an avatar because it says its more than 20KB. I try resizing it in Infranview but it doesn't work (250 pixels). How do you change the KB?? Thanks!

generally has to do with the quality and overall size of the photo...the 250 pixels may still be too big

I just found a picture I wanted to use, then opened it in MS Paint. There is a "resize" function on the top left. On the bottom it tells you how many kb the file is, I just kept re-sizing until it was under 20kb. Hope that helps!
