Bashan w/ paulie

Paulie from ctfisherman and I went to Bashan yesterday. We got on the water at 7:30 with water temps around 78-80 all day. Started out shallow and found some smaller fish right away in one of the coves, paul had a couple of blow ups on topwater but nothing to commit. He was throwing a zara spook, myself a grub, spinnerbait and shakyhead. Sun came up so we decided to go deeper with dropshot and shaky worms. Caught fish between 15-25 feet of water alot of small fish and some from 1 1/2- 2lbs. i lost one that was 5+ at the boat but was able to get this one in that went 4.2 on the berkley scale.

between the 2 of us we probably landed 20 plus fish we were off the water by 1pm. Like Jester said these fish are looking small, this one had a good size head and a skinny belly.

Nice chunk! Sounds like the lake may have a stunted growth rate.
