Long Pond - Lakeville CT - 07/17/07

CTFishTalk and I got out yesterday for the first time (for me) in almost 3 weeks, it's been a hectic time and was nice to get out on the water. Marc picked one up on a jig and pig but it was a pretty short trip overall as the lake was just dead and we had a ski boat really trying to harass everybody fishing. The high point was def. Marc's new rig, pics forthcoming I'm sure. All in all, it was just great to be back out on the water, maybe I'll actually catch something next time!

ya, it was fun tryin out my new Jig and Pig set up in Black and Blue...
The one i got was only like a 12 incher at best....
Just trying to get the feel... I could feel him keep bumpin it.... Set the hook and he was on! It sure feels like an accomplishment getting one on a jog...
