Kira and I, left for Candy at 4am, went to first area and got one flippin on the first drop,, water temp is starting to cool off,, I had water temps at 79 am 82 later in the day,, the weeds are slimming up,, caught about a dozen flippin,, Kira got one on a spinnerbait, about a lb and a half,, my biggest was around a chunky 3.5lber,, caught 3 smallies flippin,, fishin was fairly slow,, I talked to a couple guys on the water and they were drop shotting and catching smallies,,, pretty soon its going to be blading and hair jigs,, and a good week of live baiting in 30 ft of water for constant smallie action,,, it just gets better for smallies as things start to cool off..and they become fishy wolves :twisted:
