Short Night Fishing Run - Lakeville Lake 7_18_07

Lyman (Svenseat) and I (Marc) decided last min to go hit Lakeville lake tonight around 10:30 pm for some good ol' Jitterbug topwater action from the docks at Lakeville Lake... It's a 2 min walk from my house, so we decided why the hell not! The water was pretty much like glass for the hour we were there and you could here a few fish here and there jumping... We had a slight shower earlier this evening, but while we were out there no rain was falling... I ended up landing 1 LMB coming in at 2.5 lbs on the nose with the rapala digital scale, and missing about 2 other bass that sounded pretty decent but they just could not find my bait... :o We will have to hit it again very soon to spend more time out there... I have really grown to love the night time fishing... Next time i may try some black spinnerbait action as well...
