Went out to Woodmont Monday to look to see what Irene had done. WTF Woodmont cove is different and all the nooks and canals are different that were in the outer cove. The whole sand bar was fuct up. Any ways as i couldnt wait to see if the tide was going to get any lower i waded my way out towards the northeast side of the cove cause there was birds hitting the water like there was no tomorrow and there was well over 50 hitting the water. Needless to say i got cold and wet for no reason. the baitfish were there but the fish were not. I got into 7 snappers and was only able to land 3 of them. This storm has done a lot of damage. sand and water went half way up belmont st. They had the beach line roads blocked off so they can get debris and sand off the roads. i wish i took pics and you know im not going to take pics of snappers lmfao... Katia is next lets see what she has to offer. people think this is a disaster but it is hurricane season and growing up i remember at least 3 coming close to us and running to RI beaches to catch the waves.... Feel bad for people i know how it is to be effected by mother nature. I was walking out the front door than looked up and seen all the debris flying around the air thought I was tripping than seen that pile of trees in the street smash a car with a guy in it. my girl looked at him his head was hit bad got aconcousion and we went house to house to seethe older people to see if they were ok. she is a peramedic...
