Is Four Mile River Launch OK after Irene? Was thinking of heading that way in the early am... I have a long ride... Any info on the area....would be appreciated.. Looking to fish for blues..maybe some togs..

I wouldnt recommend it but I would double check. Every river has been horrible that I have seen. You dont even want to know what the ocean looks like. There was a memo put out for hazardous conditions. Most of the rivers look like mud with tons of trees in them. Also I believe blackfish season is closed now.. -Steve

Hi! I'd recommend to all to forget being on any river! They're all still running high and rolly and will for some time. AND if we get any substantial rain from Tropical Storm Lee, which is heading for us, (T storms starting tomorrow) then -> Well do I need to say more :!: Saw, today, the police stop a bunch of young tubers from going into the Farmington River, near the junction of Rt.44 and 202 -> Farminton River is running high and the current is very strong!
