Quonnipaug again,..7/19

Decided that I wasn't quite done wityh Quoni yestarday,..so I used half a vacation day and went back this morning. It was heavy overcast, slightly foggy and glassy calm to begin with. Couldn't believe it,..but I could not buy a bite during the first couple of hours. I tried fishing fast, slow, top to bottom, big baits, little baits and did not get a sniff! Around 9AM, the sun started to come out and enough breeze came up to ripple the surface, and that seemed to be what turned them on. I ended up with 6 bass in the last couple of hours,..all but one were 2lbs and up. The best were these two that went 4.25 and 3.75lbs. I think I caught the big one flipping a T-rig creature and everything else was on a black jig!
