Message:
does anyone know of any good spots to fish along the connecticut river between hartford-middletown? i dont own a boat so im looking for a good spot to bank fish. i mostly do nightfishing for catfish. i have good luck at the entrance to the wtfld cove but im getting bored there now and would like a new challenge. please let me know any good spots where i can set up my pole and chair, and maybe make a little fire pit, i would appreciate.

There is a fishing pier near the ferry crossing in Rocky Hill but I wouldn't start a fire there :) I have seen people pull cats from there.
