Newbie Father and 3 young kids to CT Fishing...

Hey fellow CT Anglers, I'm just getting my kids into fishing. We live in Westport, CT. We've got two rods, a tackle box, lures, hooks, etc, and VERY little experience. My kids are 4 - 6 - 8, and they are totally excited to be involved. Where is a good place to learn about what to use (Bait, Lures, etc), and when to use them. Any additional info on both fishing with young kids, and spots in and around Westport would be really, really, really, helpful Thanks so much, Josh
