Yamaha prop owners beware!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have a yammie s/s prop beware,last nite my blew apart on the river taking some of my lower unit with it! Plus in the last week my buddy had TWO 27m props crack without hitting anything. My prop was apparently split below the surface.

WOW!! Johnny, what size motor and how fast were you going (mph & rpm)? That is a scary thing to think about. Please provide the details as I am running a 225 HPDI on my Skeeter. Have you notified Reynolds Marine about this, if so are they doing anything to work with you on this?

I run a 225 ox 66 with a 27 pitch prop,i dropped the boat off thursday. I was running about 65mph @5400or so rpm.
