Bridgeport Harbor performed!!

Took an impromptu run out to Bridgeport Harbor with my bro-in-law and buddy (his first time on the sound)... Hit the water @4:30pm and fortunately right at low and high coming in... Never made it to Pennfield reef....stopped at the rock pile near the right hand marker to chat with a few boaters/fishers....they mentioned some blues were around there so we stayed for a few until my buddy hooked on to his first blue...and first fish ever....(Nice way to start out!) Fished the next 2.5 hours with constant blue action......landed over 20 blues and lost prob half as many... I hooked into a nice 32" blue for the grand finale! Nice 8+ min fight on med action rod! Over all beautiful day...good fishing buddies....a first fish...perfect weather...calm seas...and a great sunset to end it all...
