LAST WEEK AT LAKE HOUSATONIC
Message:
Spent alot of the week at Lake Housatonic. My cousin from Charleston S.C. was up. He is use to fishing Sante-Cooper; a place I am sure alot of you have heard of. Anyway it was a good week; water temp from 71 to 74 and the water was quite clear (for the river). Any way he was impressed with the fishing. Alot of SMB and quite a few LMB. I actually started catching on my old standby BUZZBAIT'S I figured if I was stubborn enough it would happen sooner than later. Fishermen down south swear by the SENKO'S and they didin't let him down; some really nice LMB in the weeds (which are out of control this year) I guess the Lake Housatonic authority doesn"t have the money this year for the weed cutter cause I haven't seen it yet this year. Anyway SMB were from a pound to a really nice one just under three pounds. and the LMB were all about the same except for four or five which were as high as four pounds. OK I read that some are wondering why the reports are few and far between. Here is mine cmorjoe
