First time, long time...

First time poster, longer time lurker! Just wanted to say hi to all you guys. I have been lurking because I have not had much time to fish in the past year, so I have been living vicariously through you guys. I have 11 month old twins at home. I am starting to get out more now that they are getting older. Can't wait for their first trip out! I was able to get out a few times this year and do some striper fishing. I caught my first albie this year. Highly recommend fishing for them! I grew up fishing North Farms Res. in Wallingford, back before it was totally choked with weeds. Pulled some big bass out of there. Still do a lot of fresh water fishing for bass. Looking forward to going out for some pike soon. The past few years I have been doing a lot of fishing on the Housatonic River for schoolie stripers. That is a blast. Almost time to start back up for them. That’s it for now.
