Fisher Meadow 11-13-11

Hey y'all. I gathered a couple of my buds today for what might be our last yak outing of the year. Nick Dan Conor and I launched @ 9:15 and I was out there til about 1 PM with Conor. Nick and Dan left a bit earlier. Air temps were in the 40s and it warmed to mid 50s with wind ranging from calm to breezy all the way to blustery. We threw the kitchen sink at em but there was not much action. I whiffed on a couple taps. Dan landed a 14" LMB on rat l trap. At about 12:30 I was throwing a pbnj colored jig and on the bounce back to the boat the line got heavy (about 2.6lbs heavy;)) there was a chunky little bass on. He was the days lunker and not a bad ending to the yak fishing season. He took drag spun the boat went under it a couple times a real fun catch. Barely 16" with tail pinched but he had thanksgiving early ;).
