Do you know how to stop ice build up on auger blades

How do you stop ice from building up on blades i have a mora hand auger and it gets sorta hard when the ice build up gets stuck to my blades it took me like 3 minutes for one hole

Just plunge your auger into the water after you've bored all the way through the ice. :lol:
Seriously, just power through it. Using a hand auger gets easier as the season wears on. You'll get used to it in no time. :D

paint it black.. it helps a little. and make sure you dont set it down in the snow after drilling. brush off a clear spot to lay it down.
