Countryside Park 01/28
Message:
I had some time to kill, so I fished the upper (i.e., north) pond at Countryside Park from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm. It was sunny and there was very little wind. The ice was dry and completely frozen. I reopened some old holes and drilled a bunch more. I found five inches of ice near the edges and six inches toward the middle. I jigged a waxie baited Hali and a Lindy Darter, and didn't get even a nibble. The water was murky from the recent rain, which killed the bite.
