Twin Brooks Park Pond
Message:
Sunday I rode my bike to Twin Brooks Park Pond in Trumbull and spent about 3 hours fishing there.
I started by throwing trout worms on the bottom in some deeper areas of one of the ponds, but never got a hit.
I then started moving from pond to pond where I was hoping to get into some fish with crankbaits.
Rapalas I tried throwing were a size 4 silver shad Jointed Shad Rap, size 7 firetiger Original Floater, size 7 brown trout Original Floater, and size 4 perch Jointed Shad Rap.
Stuck with a slow retrieve with the rod tip down and got lucky with a chubby 7" yellow perch on the firetiger Original Floater.

Open water? Nice job, I like ice fishing and all, but open water is still the favorite way to go.
