Could be Serious!
Message:
Hi, We may have a serious problem here in Ct. With so little precipatation this winter (snow/rain) there may not be enough run-off to bring the drawn-downed lakes and ponds back up to normal levels as quickly as usual. This could be a problem at those lakes and ponds that have launch ramps where the water is now so low it makes for difficult launching. Rivers and Streams will also be seriously affected with so little run-off -> Streams could very well run lower/slower and even dry up sooner than expected. We will need some good spring rains to help with the winter short fall. Oh! And as an FYI -> It's going to be a very short and poor Maple Syrup making season all over New England! (Expect to pay more $$$$ for the real stuff!) Sorry to have to sound so pesimistic -> But it is what it is! -> We have no control over the Wx. SeaDog1
