Hi,
OOF :!:-> I watched that video closely and saw that towing hawser stretch as it took a strain :shock: -> I know that hawser had to be making snap, crack, pop sounds as it tightened :roll:
Talk about DANGEROUS :!: -> Lot of weight there plus having to tow up river against the current.
They got lucky that the "Stacy" didn't roll over as they pulled her off the bridge -> If it had the "Eugienia" could have gotten herself in what we call "In Irons (deep trouble as tugs have very little reserve bouyancy)". If that happened the "Eugenia" could easily have had her stern pulled underwater or the hawser snap like a rubber band.
You "DO NOT!" want to be any where on deck if that happens! :shock:
