Giving up a good spot for fellow kayakers

Google map Shiny Bright car wash in Berlin. Notice the pond directly behind the car wash. It used to be an old bass hatchery. There are very large bass and crappie in there and it receives very little pressure all year.[/u]

I don't think that there's any public access to that pond. Anyway, here's a report from my only trip there back in 2010: http://www.ctfishtalk.com/private-pond-10-31-t5873.html By the time that we fished it in the Fall, the weather had already turned cold and we didn't get much, although we heard that some big fish had been pulled out of there through the ice the previous Winter.

I park next door to shiny bright near the gate or I drive right behind primier limo and dump in very quickly and park on the road. It's a pretty good spot and a nice little get away from the higher traffic ponds. Every time i've seen somebody on the water with me they were fishing from crappie not bass.
