good weather next 2 days

thinking about heading to keeney cove and silver lake on the kayak the next 2 days with our warm front coming in. Never fished colder water for bass any tips on what baits to use was thinking some jigs and maybe a swimbait. if anyone heads out there and sees me ill be in a blue sit in kayak.
