Hit the dam today from shore. First stop was an area i haven't fished yet this year, but i knew it usually holds a lot of bass from previous years fishing it. So i started of throwing a mini 2in tube in a smoke baitfish looking color with a 1/16oz jig head and a bobber set to 3ft. Within my first 5 casts i landed two smllies, 1st one was 2lb and second was 1.5lb. I through that for about another 15 min without any other takers, so i switched to my jerkbait setup, and in about another 20min i landed 5 largemouth in the 1-2lb range. After catching them i through the jerk bait for about another 10min without any bites, So i moved to the spot ive been fishing over the past couple weeks, and right away i caught a little 12in lmb on the jerk bait and shortly after i caught a 1.5lb smallmouth on the tube/float. I continued throwing the tube/float and had a real nice smallie, Looked to be 3lb+ but he shook my tube about 5ft away from shore. I stopped by the launch on my way back to leave and took a couple cast and caught one more little 11in smallie. All in all it was a great day for this early in the season, just wish i could of landed that smallie. I didn't take pictures of all the bass but heres a few pictures i took [img:ce6c8c7199]http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o618/guitarlovve77/march7b.jpg[/img:ce6c8c7199][img:ce6c8c7199]http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o618/guitarlovve77/march7b2.jpg[/img:ce6c8c7199][img:ce6c8c7199]http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o618/guitarlovve77/march7b3.jpg[/img:ce6c8c7199][img:ce6c8c7199]http://i1150.photobucket.com/albums/o618/guitarlovve77/wintersmb1.jpg[/img:ce6c8c7199]
