Paddled Paderewski on St. Patty's Day
Message:
I needed to get out and paddle a bit today once the sky opened up and the clouds parted. So I loaded the boat up and took the 2 minute drive to Paderewski Park. Not sure what the air temp was probably somewhere in the 60s. There was a very light breeze. The water was stained and muddy in some parts. I was there from about 4 to a little after 5. I spent a lot of time paddling and a little time fishing. My girlfriend and my dog came out to visit me and shortly after they said hi, I hooked into the first keeper of the year. He hit a brush hog on a 1/8 oz weight in about 5-6 feet of water.

This afternoon, I told someone about how I know the guy who stocked Paderewski Park with all of those largemouth bass. :lol: I'll tell him about your first keeper of the year.

Wish I stayed longer. I used to fish there when I was a wee boy. First time I paddled it though.
