No Bait No Fish

With the recent reports of stripers and bait, I decided to hit the discharge at Seaside Park in Bridgeport today starting around 1pm. High tide for Bridgeport was scheduled for 3:19pm. I tried throwing a number of plugs and crankbaits with my schoolie setup but never got into any stripers. I was also surprised to not see any bait lurking around the rocks in the shallows. I was also the only one out there when this time of the year you'd see a crowd.

ive gotten 7 stripers up to 27" within 15 minutes from there since sunday. THEY are around. Couple more degrees in water temp and they should be more abundant...

And another guiy on here is catching them in Olde Lyme now also.
