Connecticut River - Hamburg Cove 04/01
Message:
I'm writing this on my iPhone, so it'll be short, but I wanted to post this sooner, rather than later. I drove down to Hamburg Cove and launched The Other Woman at the boat launch map next to the Hamburg Cove Yacht Club at 10:00 am. It was cold, but still a beautiful day. I didn't see any schools of white perch in the inner cove, so I headed through the channel to the outer cove. As I worked my way down the west coast, I spotted a commotion in the water and headed over to check it out. You won't believe what I saw: [img:95ad893d9b]http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/76/dolphins.jpg[/img:95ad893d9b] Not only were they dolphins, but one appeared to be an baby albino! I called the DEEP to report the sighting and am waiting to hear back from them. they said that they's send a boat to check it out asap. I took a bunch of photos and will post more after I get home and can use my computer. Posting this with my iPhone has taken almost an hour.
