candlewood 8/2

hit cwood yesterday day with chris. we fished from around 3am to 12 noonish. he got things going early with a good smallie that weighes 2lbs 13oz. we also both got a couple of rockbass. then when we moved to a new spot we were both throwing a spinnerbait in the dark when i hooked lunker at 3lbs 14oz. chris caught a good SMB and then hooked a monster SMB on the spinnerbait but after doing battle it popped off near the boat. it was starting to get light out and chris caught another smallie or two (nice fish) and then we went to another one of his spots. a flat with some nice grass and rock. he contiued to kick my a$$ with a worm and a swimbait type lure landing two more 3+ lb SMB. then i make a return with a texas rigged craw landing a 3lb 2oz fish we then hit various areas around the lake and chris got some nice bass on the worm and swimbait while i caught another small one with the DS. chris got more fish out of the weeds while i just got my DS baits ripped or snagged. he also got the only largie at the end of the day i believe on his worm in 15 feet on the outside weed edge. chris when you see this feel free to add anything i missed as my brain is now fried. we will add pics later. ohh yea water temp bounced around from 78-81....with VERY LITTLE WIND. it was nice. now we just got to get back to lakeville for our next trip so i can work out a few more KINKS with the DS. Nice job guys! I need to do some fishing down there... i have never fished that lake... Great photos...
