west lake 04/08/12 another decent lmb
Message:
To wrap up trip number 2 of the day which I went with two friends.
We ended up going to west lake and my friend caught one fat largemouth on a trap.
After no one else caught any thing there we traveled to two other spots on the res and caught 0
It seems like every time we go to this spot OR just about every time at least one 3 - 4lber is caught...

Thats a nice chunker. I went to Long Meadow today for many hours and bombed out! The fish were waking up and coming to the top but just would not take anything I threw at them and I threw a lot of crap out there! A few other guys there also and only one guy caught a smallie on a worm and bobber. I caught 1 sunny on a Husky jerk after about 4.5 hours!!! Cant say I didnt try!

I bombed out earlier that day, well I caught one small lb on the way out.
after we fished that lake we went to another for about 30-40 minutes and each caught a 12inch lmb
He has the luck in that spot!!!
