Stripers are in the CT River
Message:
Jeff and I went out of Old Saybrook and fished around Great Island and a few spots north of the launch. No one was fishing today - everyone is doing the Easter thing. Luckily my dinner is later in the afternoon  . We didn't have great action, but managed to catch 3 stripers - a 20 incher, a 27 incher and a 38 incher. We decided the 38 incher was super fat, and was probably ready to spawn (yes they do spawn in the CTR) so we let her go. An awesome day on the water.
Here are is a photo, enjoy!
For some reason, I can't post photos yet. Will post soon.

Not great action??? that sounds like a decent day to me at this time of year! I should have went striper fishing today instead of just bass fishing as I bombed with that!
