4-10-2012 Evening.. New Britain Pond

fished from 6- 7:30 Nothing on jig Nothing on a grub Nothing on spinnerbait Nothing on worm Three large pickeral all over 2lbs and one small mouth i'd say just shy of two pounds. All three fish came in the last 15 minutes on an orange rapala slash bait. Wish I started fishing it earlier. Water temps seem to be right for the jerk/slash bait right now. Noted that all four fish came on about a 15 second pause.

Is this a small pond? I'm looking for a place where I can fish small mouth from the shore I like catching them so much better. The only small mouth pond near me that's any good is illegal to fish...don't ask how I know.
