1st Spawning Crappie
Message:
Hi,
Had to go to NYC today on a maritime consulting job..
Came back via Rt. 87 to Rt. 44
Got to Woodcreek, Norfolk, Ct. at 4:15 PM
Threw a small silver spinner and hooked my 1st spawning Crappie in the shallows -> squirted some eggs in my hand as I released it.
Was only that one, but it's a start ! thumbup

This is good to hear, I haven't been out to specifically target crappies in quite a few years and dug out all my panfishing gear today and really have some spots I want to check out this year. I am craving some crappie fillets!

Hi,
Some time just after "Opening Day" I want to get up to the north end of Stillwater Pond, Torrington.
That's where a lot of crappies of good size go to spawn. thumbup
