on shore stripper spot needed for child

Hey Guys Im thinking about taking my 9 year old son to the river to catch some schoolies for his first time. I need to find a good onshore spot anywhere in the state, I dont mind traveling. Can you help me out?

Man, I wish that MY dad took me to a stripper spot when I was 9! :lol:
Seriously, though, the west shore of the Connecticut River in the Windsor area seems to be producing schoolie stripers and really nice smallies right now. If anyone knows of any specific spots, I'd love to hear about them, too.

I was also thinking about taking him down to Dock and Dine resturant and catch schoolies down there with sand worms. That spot used to be hot several years ago.
