Anyone know if there are any stripers in keeney cove? I drove by today and saw a ton of people parked on the road that goes over the cove and they were all looking down into the water

stripers DO make it into the cove. not in great numbers, but they do. wait til you see the herring start showing up heavy in there. you can see em shine in the current. stripers are very opportunistic, and will push their limits to follow the food. i've gotten them myself first thing in the morning in recent years on the larger super spooks in white and black jointed bombers b4 sunrise. seen some big boys raisin hell in there at high tide around sunrise, if you're lucky enough to time the two together (sunrise and high tide) like i said, stripers will travel surprisingly far for food. look at the greenville dam in norwich. 30+ pounders runnin up fast waters like salmon. or catchin em WAY up in the farmington river where you think they wouldn't make it up. don't let em fool ya.
