The Bite was On
Message:
Tuesday afternoon after going surf fishing, I hit my usual small pond starting around 12:45pm.
After playing with a 7cm firetiger Original Floater, I threw a Heddon Tiny Torpedo. That had the bass hitting! Another lure I played with was the 6" black worm that caught me the 6 1/4 pounder. The retrieve I stuck with was a slow gliding sub surface walk the dog.
For the 3 hours I spent there and the laps I did around the pond, I caught a total of 7 largemouths all measuring 13" and 14" and weighing around 1 1/2 pounds. 4 came on the Tiny Torpedo and 3 on the worm.
I missed plenty with both lures and lost 3. They were acrobatic this time!
