Late Night Bassing
Message:
I was curious to find out if the large mouth were as active this early in the year as they have been so often for me in the summer and fall. So, I made a late night run using the same rigs I normally use. 7" Berkley swimtails on a Gamakatsu headed with a bullet weight. The bite was strong at the normal hours from 10 - 2am and seemed to still be getting stronger as we decided to call it a night. All of the fish we found were under docks or structure with no exceptions. This was in a medium sized body of water in the Middletown area with more cold deep water than anything.

Thats good to know, I have always had issues with spring time fishing, I am trying to change my techniques a little bit using more spinner baits.
Thanks
