How to Post a Photo in Your Message / Thread

[b:c80b000379]How to post photos in your Gallery and in your Messages [/b:c80b000379] Make sure to resize your images before putting them in your gallery to make it easier to fit them in your post... Standard size is 640 x 480. If you have microsoft picture manager that works great for resizing... if not.. http://www.resize2mail.com/ No software required! Once you are logged in under your name... After you have uploaded your first photo, when you log back in another time to add more photos the "add a photo" button will be gone since your galley is no longer empty. When you log into your gallery again you will see on the left hand side options for you to work with your gallery... To add more photos you want to click " Add Items" [img:c80b000379]http://www.ctfishtalk.com/gallery2.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1870[/img:c80b000379] Once you have added the phots to your gallery you can now add photos to your post... when you click to reply to someones post, or you start a new thread, you will see this screen and click on the "g2Img" button... this will bring up a pop up window where you can browse to choose your image where you saved it to... click on the image and it will put a link in your message body of your post... make sure your cursor is where you want the image to be placed before clicking on "g2Img"... It will put the image where ever you put the link to the image... Feel free to use these free internet options as well for free hosting of images... We recommend using http://www.glowfoto.com/ or http://tinypic.com/ to host these images. If you have large images that need resizing and you do not have software to resize it yourself then we suggest you resize it first using http://www.resize2mail.com/ No software required! After you upload the image and it is resized for you, then save it to your computer by right clicking on the image and click "save picture as" Alternatively you can click on the link above the image where is says "click here to download your image." once image is saved on your computer you can them upload your resized image to either http://www.glowfoto.com/ or http://tinypic.com/ GLOWFOTO When you go to http://www.glowfoto.com/ it is pretty self explainatory. you click the browse button and select the image you just resized or your image that did not need resizing. Then click upload. Once the image is uploaded to either http://www.glowfoto.com/ or http://tinypic.com/ take the link they provide that says "BBCode: Use your image on forums and message boards." and put it in your messege on www.ctfishtalk.com and your image will appear in your message. You can click the "preview" button before you click submit to make sure your image is posted correctly. TinyPic Tiny is pretty much the same process as glowfoto, just take the link they provide for forums.
