Wethersfield cove pike!!

Just decided to go to the cove today around 3pm and landed two nice pike. One was 36 inches and one was 32 inches. Caught them on shore using a Rapala shadrap. Real nice fish and fought real hard

how is fiahing there over all, I lie in Hartford and this is really close to me but I never been there before. Sure I am going to try it as soon as possible.
Any tips on lures or fish species over there?

they start hitting ya up for the parking over at weatherfield cove yet if not I might try to hit it up with week before the weekend crowd hits it
