Niantic winter flounder.
Message:
After moderate success 2 weeks ago, we decided to try again for some of the elusive unicorn. :wink:
Things started pretty slowly for me and my partner. We tried several spots and only had one keeper after 1.5 hrs of fishing. We finally tried a different area that paid off for us with 3 more keepers in under an hour.
Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery tasty! :D

We were using sandworms and a standard yellow beaded flounder hook.
Already looking forward to next weeks trip!

That's what I was hoping for last Saturday over in Guilford . Perhaps I should just drive all the way to Niantic.
