Best one sofar this year!!
Message:
Caught my best bass this year today at Dayton pond as I worked a wacky natural green senko. I waded through the water over a slippery submerged concrete dock to an old piling to free a snag I caught. Once there I decided to cast since I now had some new angles. I casted about 10 times and got one thump or so I thought. I was about to go change colors or lures but decided to cast once more. On this cast I felt something not hit it overly hard but kind of just take it and swim so I set the hook hard. I faught this bass for a little but wanted to get it in my hands asap. I finally saw it and quickly stuffed my whole hand in its mouth with a death grip because now I had to walk back over the slippery concrete. On top of this as soon as I grabbed the fish my swivel broke. But I quickly made my way back and called my grandpa down the street who just got home from spending winter in FL to come see my fish and take a picture since I couldn't get a good one with my phones front camera. After I let this fish go I started fishing again and got a hit relatively fast just as the senko hit the water. I adding Ed it was another bass and to my surprise it was a good sized catfish. What a weird fish to get on a senko. And that its how my before dinner hour and a half of fishing went.
