Lillinonah was FANTASTIC today

Went to lilli today and it was awesome! I caught close to 20 large mouth today with a landed lunker close to 4lbs and another bohemoth popping off at the boat as I went to lip it...light line and was afraid of swinging it in. All were caught in 8-12 ft of water along the left side shore near the dam. Caught them all on 7 inch green pumpkin ribbon tail on a 1/4 oz jig head with a slow retrieve. I was sitting in 25 ft of water, throwing it close to shore and dragging it to the deep stuff with a few twitches and a long pause. I caught a few others on square bill cranks as well. I got out there about 9:30, the water was glass with visibility to few feet. I was the ONLY boat out there. Weather temp was high 60's to low 70's and the water temp was 65. The water was a little low when I dropped in but even lower when I took the boat out. All in all a great day.

They reported that the Housy and Lilly were dropped 3 feet last week. When the overhaul starts Pond Brook will be rough if not impossible to launch out of.
