Twin Brooks Park & Small Pond 5/16
Message:
Wednesday before going to West Haven with my dad, I hit Twin Brooks Park.
Seeing it was overcast, hazy, damp, and hardly any wind, I decided to concentrate mostly of topwater.
I was getting plenty of hits on a Tiny Torpedo.
As I moved around from pond to pond, other lures I tried were size 7 perch Shallow Shad Rap, size 7 yellow perch Original Floater, and size 6 yellow perch Husky Jerk.
After catching 1 largemouth and 1 bluegill with the Tiny Torpedo, I started getting into a good bite around pads. Most hits were aggressive bluegills, but did land a keeper crappie and 2 dinky largemouths.
For an hour I went to the small pond that I caught the pumpkinseed at. The Tiny Torpedo caught me 3 dinky bass. Tried playing with the bluegills and pumpkinseeds but they weren't interested in much.
