Can you bring a row boat or electric motor on most lakes in CT? Also what about parks?

Each particular lake has it's own regulations. If you look at the anglers guide, each lake will tell you if.. - Has a boat launch (trailered or carry on) - Allows motors (combustion or other) - The hours its open (if there are restrictions) Also - many of the state parks also have areas for launching. Here is the Anglers Guide and the State Boat Launch Link. As far as a row boat and or electric motor, most places will allow that. http://www.depdata.ct.gov/maps/boating/boatingmap.htm http://www.ct.gov/dep/lib/dep/fishing/anglers_guide/anguide.pdf

[quote:f15fc829aa="Smd22"]Can you bring a row boat or electric motor on most lakes in CT? Also what about parks?[/quote:f15fc829aa] Here's a link to the boaters guide. [b:f15fc829aa]http://www.ct.gov/dep/cwp/view.asp?a=2686&q=322292&depNav_GID=1620 [/b:f15fc829aa] Most of the information you need will be in here. If you put a motor on a boat it does have to be registered and you have to have a boating certification.
