Pequonnock River Bpt 5/29
Message:
After Bunnells Pond, I hit the lower section of the Pequonnock below the dam. First lure was a 7cm perch Original Floater. Wasn't getting anything on that so I switched over to the 6cm yellow perch Husky Jerk. The retrieve I stuck with was 3 to 5 soft jerks before pausing for about 2 or 3 seconds. Up at the Wonderland of Ice I caught 2 largemouths, 1 rock bass, and 1 bluegill. All were small. Down at Glenwood Park along the tidal are I caught a total of 5 crappie, 2 bluegills, 1 yellow perch, and 1 rock bass. The yellow was a dinky 2 1/2". Biggest crappie was 1 inch from a usual keeper and the smallest was a dinky 3". Started heading home once I saw those black clouds and the line in the clouds!
